 FIRE STATION NO. 9 +
PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER
The Frisco Fire Station No. 9 and Public Safety Training Center project, currently being built for the City of Frisco, includes the new construction of a fire station and a four-story public safety training center located in Frisco, TX. The fire station will house three vehicle bays and dorm rooms. The public safety training center will support multiple buildings and house equipment rooms, a break room, classrooms, live fire training props, a Class A burn room, and a repelling deck. The construction includes a concrete foundation, steel structural framing, masonry block walls, and masonry veneer exterior with standing seam metal and polychloride roofs. The project will also feature a vehicle extrication area, trench rescue, confined spaces props, and an open driving pad with cityscape and concrete roadways. The Frisco Fire Station No. 9 and Public Safety Training Center project is on schedule to be completed in the Spring of 2019.
NATIONAL GUARD READINESS CENTER
The National Guard Readiness Center project, currently in the pre-construction phase for the Nevada Army National Guard, will include the new construction of a 75,000 square foot military facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The facility will function as an administrative, training, and supply center for military units during peacetime missions for achieving training proficiency and combat readiness. Construction of the center will occur on a 40-acre site and will be comprised of slab-on-grade and slab-on-deck, structural and decorative concrete masonry unit block, structural steel flooring, and a membrane roof. The project will also feature a stepped concrete floor auditorium, commercial kitchen equipment, and aluminum framed windows. Site improvements will consist of the installation of a berm and drainage channel, a retention basin, asphalt paving, curbs and gutters, landscaping and irrigation, and all associated utilities. The National Guard Readiness Center project anticipated to begin construction in early 2019.
