LANDER COUNTY COURTHOUSE AND ADMINISTRATION
The Lander County Courthouse and Administration project, built for Lander County, included the new construction of a 59,021-square-foot municipal judicial facility located in Battle Mountain, NV. The facility supports the offices of the County Commissioner, District Attorney, Public Defender, and Juvenile Office and houses the Eleventh Judicial District Court and Argenta Justice Court. The judicial facility was constructed of a steel structural frame on a spread and pier foundation, concrete masonry unit exterior skin, and single-ply roof system. The project features a law library, secure holding cells, and transportation areas as well as a 4,000-square-foot basement for additional storage space and a 100-kilowatt solar parking structure. The new Lander County Courthouse and Administration Building provides greater accessibility to the administration of justice to the residents of Lander County.
