BUCKEYE FIRE STATION NO. 704 AND POLICE SUBSTATION
The Buckeye Fire Station No. 704 and Police Substation project, built for the City of Buckeye, included the new construction of a 15,950-square-foot municipal public safety station located in Buckeye, AZ. The facility supports a three-bay fire station garage, firefighter living quarters, and offices and training rooms for police officers. The municipal public safety station was constructed of a concrete spread footing foundation, insulating concrete form and concrete masonry unit block structural frame, textured acrylic finishes over panels and stucco exterior finish, and a concrete tile roof. Site improvements included an 80-foot communications tower, 2,000-gallon diesel and gasoline fueling station, and a 54-kilowatt photovoltaic parking canopy structure. The project also houses a medical exam room, fitness room, and a day room with an elevated slab and lockers. The Buckeye Fire Station No. 704 and Police Substation project now provides timely fire protection, advanced life support care, and law enforcement services to the local community.
