DAISY MOUNTAIN FIRE STATION NO. 145 AND ADMINISTRATION
The Daisy Mountain Fire Station No. 145 and Administration project, built for the Daisy Mountain Fire Department, included the new construction of a 22,000-square-foot public safety complex located in Phoenix, AZ. The facility consists of a 7,500-square-foot Administration building and a 11,850-square-foot fire station. Both buildings of the public safety complex were constructed on a spread footings and slab-on-grade concrete foundation with a wood structural frame. An exterior insulation and finish system and a concrete tile roof completed the construction. The project also featured the demolition of an existing fire station, which was built in 2001, and utilization of the remaining footprint for the new station with dorm rooms, triage rooms, and covered parking. Other features of the Administration Building consist of offices, conference rooms, and exterior covered patios. The Daisy Mountain Fire Station No. 145 and Administration project now accommodates over 100 fire department personnel in two centralized, structurally sound locations which support the needs of the surrounding community.
