COLLIN COLLEGE PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING FACILITY
The Collin College Public Safety Training Facility project, built for Collin County Community College District, included the new construction of a 121,729-square-foot emergency training services campus located in McKinney, TX. The facility functions as a reality-based public safety and law enforcement training center. The emergency training services campus was constructed on a pier and beam foundation with a structural steel frame, brick exterior, and built-up roof. The project features two burn buildings for firefighters, multiple firefighting and rescue simulators, three shooting ranges, and classrooms. Due to CORE’s innovative construction solutions and professional services during preconstruction, the Collin College Public Safety Training Facility project was completed on time and is the only comprehensive public safety and law enforcement training area in Collin County.
