CAMPOS PAROLE AND CORRECTIONS
The Campos Parole and Corrections project, built for the Nevada State Public Works Division, included the demolition and new construction of a five-story, 188,061-square-foot municipal office building and structured parking garage located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility houses the Nevada Department of Public Safety’s Division of Parole and Probation, which provides monitoring, supervising, and re-integrating of offenders. The office building and parking garage were constructed of a concrete structural frame, poured terrazzo floors, recycled glass aggregate, and floor plates for maximizing daylight penetration in public and secured areas. The project also contains three levels of offices, a walk up entrance, an open lobby, roof garden and terrace, and secured entrances to interior office spaces. The project achieved LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for sustainability and green construction features. The Campos Parole and Corrections project now imparts greater public trust and safety.
