International schools
Hong Kong has 53 international schools in operation (excluding one under temporary suspension for renovation). They offer about 46,500 primary and secondary school places; and non-local curricula including American, Australian, British, Canadian, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Singaporean and the International Baccalaureate programmes.
Premier international institutes
Hong Kong hosts many leading international institutes of learning and researches.
v The University of Chicago Booth
School of Business offers its flagship Executive MBA programme, among others, at its Hong Kong centre;
v Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine set up Hong Kong’s first School of Veterinary Medicine, in collaboration with CityU of Hong Kong;
v Sweden's Karolinska Institutet opened its first overseas reparative medicine centre at Hong Kong Science Park.
