Social harmony
Ethnic minorities live in harmony
in Hong Kong. The Government facilitates their integration into the community while helping them preserve their cultures by providing opportunities for public cultural performances.
Religious freedom
Buddhist, Taoist, Hindu and Sikh temples, churches, mosques, synagogues and other places of worship give all major religions a focus for their faith in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is an ultra-modern city, yet it retains great diversity, with a mix of old and new, Western and Chinese architecture, great theme parks and a diverse food scene. The Government is keen on conservation, sustainability and revitalisation of urban heritage.
 Culinary paradise
With every kind of culinary offering from around the world, Hong Kong has a well-deserved reputation as a culinary paradise.
The 2020 edition of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong
and Macau includes 219 addresses in Hong Kong,
70 of them with Michelin stars. They range from high-end restaurants to inexpensive street food stalls.
