Vigyan Samachar – For Communicating Developments in Science and Technology in Print, Electronic, Digital and Social Media
The initiative is aimed to enhance the reach of development in Science, Technology and Innovation and upscale the content and increase the coverage of S&T news emanating from scientific organisations for societal benefit. This initiative on communicating science, technology and innovation through various media presents India’s strategically important approaches in science and technology along with some highlights of remarkable achievements and make it more user- friendly and attractive. It provides information about the activities, programmes, projects and the overall dynamism from all the autonomous organisations. VP is using different media platforms to reach out to the public about recent developments and achievements in S&T. The project was initiated in November 2019.
The project Vigyan Samachar is being carried out by Vigyan Prasar to generate and publish popular science stories that go to four forms of media that are, Print, Electronic, Digital and Social Media. As a first-of-its-kind S&T
