rare opportunity to witness one of the most spectacular celestial events, an Annular Solar Eclipse (ASE),
is knocking at our door. The ASE on 21 June 2020 will be visible from four northern states, i.e., Rajasthan,
Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The annularity can be seen only from regions of these four states, but from the rest of India, a partial solar eclipse will be visible. The ASE will enter India from Rajasthan, then will move to Haryana and then towards Uttarakhand via small part of

Uttar Pradesh. The total duration of
the eclipse will be around 3 hours and 30 minutes, but the annularity can be seen only for about 9 to 33 seconds. Besides India, the annular phase will be visible from parts of Africa, including the Central African Republic, Congo, Ethiopia, south of Pakistan and China.
