  ACTIVITY-2
  Aim:
Finding the magnitude of the annular solar eclipse.
Apparatus/ Materials Required:
Ball mirror, ruler and pencil.
Procedure:
1. Project the image of the Sun with help of a ball mirror on a wall as shown in figure 1.
2. Keep the distance between the ball mirror and wall approximately 20 to 30 m.
3. At the time of annularity, when you get the projected image of Sun mark both ends of the Sun and the Moon image with the help of a pencil as shown in figure 4.
4. With the help of a ruler measure the diameter of Sun’s and Moon’s image as shown in figure 4.
