NUMBER TRICK 1:
Ask your friends to do the following steps:
Initially, imagine any number. Add 1 to it. Then multiply it by 2. Again add 3 and then multiply it by 5. At the end, assume any number between 1 and 9 and add the assumed number to the obtained result. Now, tell the final number.
Let us consider two cases. Two different results (final numbers) obtained from two friends are as follows:
Case 1: The final number is 93. Case 2: The final number is 1588.
Answers for two cases are given here:
Case 1: For the first friend, the initial number was 6 and at the end she assumed number 8.
Case 2: The second friend had initially imagined 156 and his assumed number was 3.
First, we have to know the simple procedure to get the answer quickly. Method to get the answer is as follows:
Take the final number and subtract 5 from that number. The last digit of the result will be the assumed number (at the end). Now remove the last digit and subtract 2 from the truncated number. You will get the initial number imagined by your friend. For case 1, it is explained. First subtract 5 from the total number 93. It becomes 88. So the last digit 8 is the assumed number. After removing the last digit (8), the truncated number will be 8. Hence, 6 (8-2=6) will be the initial number.
93 - 5 = 8 8 8 is the assumed number.
8 - 2 = 6 is the initial number imagined by your friend.
Now, it is also important to know the basic logic behind this number trick. If the primary intellection of the number trick is known to you, you can develop a new number trick by yourself. The basic logic behind the trick is given here.
First, take the initial number as zero. Add 1 to it and then multiply it by 2. It becomes 2. Again add 3 and then multiply it by 5 as mentioned above. The
