Wangaratta Show
The Wangaratta Show will be held on 13 & 14 October 2023. Please send your PL insurance and risk assessments to the office if you are planning to attend the Show in 2023.
The council has commenced some work on the showground that will impact the defined amusement area.
Please contact your delegates to discuss the ground space for 2023.
Warrnambool Show
The Warrnambool Show will kick off early in 2023 with our first “Warrnambool Showdown” competition being held
on Friday evening 27th October, the night before our Super Saturday
Show Day on October 28th.
Dandenong Show
The Dandenong Show Society
are excited to be welcoming back Showjumping to the 2023 Show on the 11th & 12th of November. Showjumping was for many years a key feature of
the Dandenong Show and has had a rest from the program for the past
few years. But due to overwhelming demand from the Showjumping community it returns to the main
oval. Run in conjunction with the Cora Lynn Showjumping club, the event will feature all the fun and excitement of athletes and their horses competing over a set of jumps in numerical order, scoring penalties if they knock down any jumps or if a horse refuses to jump. The excitement of showjumping is loved by competitors and spectators like,
with competitors expected to travel from all over Victoria to come to the Dandenong Show. It’s exciting to have Showjumping back as a part of the Horse Program. Entries will open on “Global Entries” website in October.
Echuca Moama Show
The Echuca Moama Annual Show will be held on the 11th and 12th of November 2023. The Show Society warmly invites members to attend their show. The Society is seeking support with a range of amusement rides, games and show food.
Maffra Show
The Maffra Show will be held on the 28th of October 2023 with a Dairy Theme.
Free Entry for children again courtesy of the Community Bank, Maffra Branch. Lots of rides, displays and entertainment including the local blues band the Voodoo Preachers. Lots of fun under our new Dome with the usual Equestrian events, Pavilion displays, Beef and Dairy exhibits, Maffra Mile, and night carnival.
This will be a night of music, food, carnival, and fun. The Showdown is a live music competition for emerging south-west music talent and the event is aimed at attracting the local youth to experience the magic of the show at night.
This will give Showmen’s Guild members an added opportunity to run rides
and sideshows on top of our main
Show day which runs all day Saturday October 28th until late in the evening.
2022 was an amazing show with a large number of showmen attending our show and the Warrnambool community just loved it!
We are hoping to make 2023 another huge Show for Warrnambool with the support of the Showmen’s Guild members and their attractions.
We have planned an action-packed Saturday with attractions for the whole family and entertainment going into the evening.
We look forward to seeing many of your members at Warrnambool Show 2023.
