Show Circuit Information
Show Dates and Attendance
The 149th Annual Shepparton
Show will be held on the 10th
and 11th of October 2025.
The event will operate
under current public
health directions.
Entry and Access
Guild Members should
enter the Showground via
Gate 5 on Williams Rd.
Bump In and Bump Out
Bump in begins on Monday,
6th October from 7am,
allowing for entry and camping
on the Showgrounds. Bump
out must
be completed by Monday,
13th October by 5pm.
Insurance Requirements
All insurance policies must
provide $20 million cover to
operate on Council grounds.
For POPE documentation,
proof of current insurance
should be submitted to the
Shepparton Agricultural
Society Inc. at least two
weeks before the show.
Documents can be emailed

Collection of Rent and
Documentation Verification
Rent will be collected on
Thursday, 10th October at 5pm
at the Grandstand. Guild
delegates will manage rent
collection, and staff from
the Shepparton Agricultural
Society will verify insurance
documents before amusement
rides are permitted to
operate. WorkSafe may
inspect logbooks.
Food Traders Information
All temporary and mobile food
premises must comply with the
Food Standards Code to ensure
food sold is safe and suitable.

Your principal council is the
council in which the premise
is based, equipment is stored
or garaged, or the first trade
occurs in for interstate traders.
Once registered with the
principal council, a statement
of trade must be submitted to
any council that you trade in.
Vendors intending to sell
food from temporary
premises within Greater
Shepparton must:
Register their food premises
with, or notify, the Greater
Shepparton City Council.
Lodge a Statement of Trade
(SOT) using the Victorian
Government’s Food Trader
platform (“Temporary
Food Premises - Greater
Shepparton City Council”).
Food vendors must register
with Food Trader and submit
documents at least 2 weeks
before the 10–11 October
2025 event. Late submissions
cannot trade at the Shepparton
Show. Please contact Greater

Amusement Rides
All contractors must have at
least $20 million insurance
coverage and provide a current
Certificate of Currency before
entry and setup. Amusement
rides cannot operate without
proof of valid insurance prior
to showtime. Rides, games,
and activities must not block
emergency vehicle access or
encroach over boundaries.
Keep street corners clear
for emergency vehicles and
ensure awnings or shutters
don’t obstruct the street.
Follow all marked boundaries,
temporary fencing, safety
bollards, and safety bunting.
Cattle Unloading
and Parking
The designated cattle
unloading and parking area
will be situated to the north
of the Multi-Purpose Pavilion,
accessible exclusively to
livestock exhibitors via the
cattle gate on Williams Road.
This area will be securely
fenced off from the sideshow
section during show hours.
Back of House
Keep the back of house
clean and tidy. Ensure all
electrical leads are tested,
tagged, and stored safely in
power boxes—never on the
ground—to prevent tripping
or electrocution. Confirm
LPG gas cylinders meet
current safety standards.
Waste & Rubbish
All rubbish including cable ties,
balloon scraps, fairy floss sticks,
