ALLARA Conference 2022
Wow! steps to pick up where we left off with
What a fantastic event AALARA22 Conference & Trade Showcase was – and a massive thank you to everyone who came and supported the event!
Three days and nights of information, safety sessions, motivation, networking and most importantly, catching up face to face with industry friends!
Doing Business in 2022 and Beyond was the theme of AALARA22, and it was sewn through each session over the course
of the three days at Sea World Resort Conference Centre, ensuring our industry transitions into a post-COVID era stronger and more resilient than ever.
It’d be remiss of us to ignore the last two years, however we are committed to moving forward and strengthening our industry and the many sectors that operate within it, to see a greater, safer, and more robust future.
From the Inflatables Safety Session, the Regulators Forum, Michael Croaker, Steven Bradbury and each and every session in between, there really was something for everyone.
When planning an event like the AALARA Conference & Trade Showcase, we aim to cater to the broader industry, whilst still delivering enough nuts and bolts specifics for our guests to take away learnings and experiences that will positively impact their personal and professional lives.
Together with the AALARA Board of Directors, I’d like to personally thank all the Showmen who came to AALARA22, without your support, we couldn’t do what we do for the industry.
We continue to work on establishing the industry DMF and now with the new Government and cabinet announced, we have a clear pathway of our next
the former government. We are kicking off a new strategy with the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Bruce Billson and his team, which will need your input in the coming weeks.
We will be surveying our entire industry, as a ‘phase 2’ follow up from our last submission to government. Please keep an eye out and pass around to as many Showmen to complete as possible.
The clearer the picture that we can paint for the Government about how impacted our industry is by this insurance crisis, the better chance we have of establishing the DMF with their funding assistance and creating a public liability coverage vehicle that will stand the test of time and insurance cycles to see smiles on
the faces of ride goers for many, many years to come.
Again, a massive thank you to our exhibitors, sponsors and speakers, and to everyone who came out to AALARA22, we look forward to seeing you all again in 2023!
