  Into the Sunset
May they rest in peace.
Gone but they will live on in our memories, reflections, and stories forever.
Terry Ghiradelli
30th October 1948 – 29th March 2022
Terry Ghiradelli was an extremely well- liked showman who frequented many Queensland shows as well as crossing over the Border into NSW to do the New England and Northern Rivers Run, also jumping down to Newcastle and Maitland.
His Dodgem cars were his pride and joy and when the EKKA was on the track was extended to 80’ long.
Terry’s trademark white overalls for the crew made everything totally impressive and so professional. He used these before uniforms became the standard attire at shows.
Terry’s love of showbusiness was
a carry on from the famous Olly’s Dodgem Cars and his family history goes back many generations.
Terry was always happy and carried a constant smile that gave away his zest for impressive cars including the Aston Martin he drove.
Terry was also the owner of a hotel complex on Brisbane’s northside which gave him an interest outside of showbusiness and it was a great success!
A very fit private man who loved going to the gym and being close to his family.
Sadly, Terry passed away on the 29th of March 2022 from not being able to recover from complications with his health.
This is another tragic loss to the ‘greater show business family ‘we are all a part of, but we know he will always be remembered and remain a part of our history forever!
In loving memory of Terry Ghiradelli
