Dear Members, Friends and Readers,
Welcome to the New Year.
It’s been quite a devastating start to the New Year, for all of Australia.
It makes it very difficult when our community and businesses are so greatly affected by not only weather conditions
and the horrific fires engulfing many parts of the country, but the economy which in many areas are struggling greatly due to the terrible drought that the entire country is suffering from.
However, these are the times where we should endeavour to support each other personally, and as a community wherever we can.
Due to the devastation many carnivals along the coast have been undoubtedly negatively affected, and of course quite a number of Shows have been cancelled, which is very inconvenient and puts pressure on all members.
Stay positive, push through and work hard where we can!
As all carnivals are coming to an end for another year and we are preparing for Show runs, let’s all continue to work together as a strong organisation to keep Agricultural Shows running successfully and assist in any way to make them the best they can be!
