City of Greater Bendigo requires a copy of all Members certificate of currency (Public Liability Insurance) prior to Wednesday 25th March 2020
Please ensure that the City of Greater Bendigo is noted on the policy as an interested party.
SITE ACCESS FOR SET UP OF CARNIVAL RIDES AND ATTRACTIONS
The set up time has been brought forward to minimise OH&S concerns and Members setting up during the evening.Bump in will commence from 9.00am on Thursday 9 April 2020.
Security will be onsite during bump in to assist with public access.
CAMPING
The Bendigo Show Society has kindly made camping available to Members at the Bendigo Showground.
A fee of $25.00 per night is to be paid to the office upon arrival or to the ground staff.
Access to the Showgrounds is via the Main Gate and Gate 2.
Please Note: The Sunday Market will be operating at the Showground.
CONDITIONS
• Members are reminded to comply with the directions of the Victorian Showmen’s Guild Delegates.
• Please note that no power is available on site.
• Members must coordinate their own generator power on site.
• The festival is a smoke free event, which includes the Carnival area.
• Food vendors must ensure that they are registered with the City of Greater Bendigo and comply with all local council regulations.
• Members must hold current Working with Children checks.
• Please protect council property and vegetation.
• Please ensure that your site is left in clean and satisfactory condition prior to leaving.
• Recycle, organic and general waste will be made available for the Victorian Showmen’s Guild across the festival weekend.
• Worksafe and the CFA will be onsite on Thursday during bump in and across the weekend for site inspections.

Water Ball Amusement Rides
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE ATTENTION OF OPERATORS:
You are alerted to the utmost CARE must be taken when operating Water Ball Amusement Rides with the following points listed to assist you:
• Theamusementridemustbesupervised at all times while the Water Balls are in the Pool.
• OncethePoolhasbeeninstalledthe Fence must be erected.
• ThatWaterover300mm(1’)musthavea Safety Fence. (as per Australian Standards).
• AllWaterBallsmustbeofaheavyduty material.
• TheDisposalofwatermustbecorrectly and safety dispersed as required by Societies --NOT to interfere with any other stallholders.
These are guidelines are set out to assist you with Patrons safety.

COHUNA SHOW 2020
The Cohuna Show Society invites Members to their 2020 Show.
The Show will be held on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March 2020
It is the Cohuna Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Society’s 107th Annual Show.
Friday 20th March 4.00pm til late Saturday21stMarch from9.30am
Some of our favourites will be back at the Show this year, including:
• The Cohuna Kanga’s BBQ
• The Cohuna Show Girl competitions
including Tiny Tots etc.
• Fireworks display starting at
approximately at 9.30 pm Friday night. The Society hopes to see you there!
Show Operating Times
All members are reminded by the Executive Committee that you must comply with ‘Bump In and Bump Out’ operating times as set down by respective Show Societies. Members are required to abide by and comply with the operating times allocated for each event, setting up on time and not leaving earlier than the departure time. This will be carefully monitored by Delegates and the Executive Committee. Severe penalties will apply!
