The iconic Bendigo Easter Festival is
back! Join us from April 18 - 21 for a
spectacular long weekend of family
entertainment. With over 80 events
and activities, there is something
for the whole family to enjoy!
Commencing in 1871, the Bendigo
Easter Festival is one of Australia’s
longest-running community
events. Every Easter long weekend,
Bendigo’s beautiful Rosalind
Park and surrounding streets is
transformed into a vibrant precinct
bursting with family-friendly
activities and live entertainment.
Experience the thrills of amusement
rides, find a treasure at the Rotary
Market, meet fury animal friends and
be in the hunt for 85,000 Easter eggs.
Dance, drums, lion teams and
100,000 crackers are all part of the
Awakening of the Dragon, as Bendigo
celebrates its Chinese heritage
at the Dai Gum San Precinct.

to cheer on the convoy of
illuminated floats in La Trobe
University Torchlight Procession
- Commemorating the service of
Rod Fyffe OAM. It will conclude with
a spectacular fireworks display
over the city on Saturday night.

excitement of Dai Gum Loong, the
world’s longest Imperial Dragon,
weaving his way through the

Experience a festival tradition
filled with colour and excitement
as bands, cultural groups, dance
troupes, sporting clubs, school
groups and many more as they
perform along the parade route.
The Bendigo Chinese Association
present a spectacular cultural
display, concluding with the world’s
longest Imperial dragon, Dai Gum
Loong, weaving his way through the
historic streetscapes of Bendigo.
