Murray Robert ‘Bob’ Lawrence
27.12.1939 - 07.05.2025
Bob passed away on the 7th of May 2025 in Rome, Italy
(whilst holidaying) aged 85.
Much loved husband of Libby and devoted father of Sarah,
Adam, Mark (dec) and Meg. Loved Grandfather of Ella, Will,
Lulu, Elise and Robert.
Bob was a longstanding supporter and subsciber of the
Outdoor Showman magazine.
One of Bob’s greatest passions was the Royal Adelaide Show,
Bob began working there at just 14 years old and eventually
owned and operated many rides, including the Mad Mouse,
Dodgem Cars, the Big Dipper Rollercoaster, and his
treasured Carousel. At one point, he owned
up to 15 rides. In 2007, Dad was extremely
proud to be awarded by the
Royal Adelaide Show Society,
The Show Legend Award.
Our thoughts are with his
family and friends.
