Into the Sunset
We say goodbye to Members, Family, Friends and Associates.
Gary John Blades
25th September 1947 – 2nd December 2018
Gary John Blades passed away on 2nd December 2018, at the age of 71.
Loving husband of Kay Blades, and much loved father to Eden and Stevie.
Gary was the only siblings to Glenis Jackson and brother in-law Kenny Jackson. Uncle to Tanya, Nathan and Alex Jackson.
Grandfather to Tristan, Cooper, Angelina, Sophia and Great Grandfather to Matilda. Gary will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
He was a much respected Showman, and was the first to do many challenging things on the Showgrounds, especially in the food side of the business, building some of the biggest and best canteens for their time.
He definitely left his mark in our Industry. Never to be forgotten and loved till eternity Rest in peace
