Seasons Greetings from the Editor
On behalf of the President and
Executive Committee of the Victorian
Showmen’s Guild, I would like to extend
our warmest season’s greetings to all
members, subscribers, fellow Guilds
and associations, and supporters
through our official publication, The
Outdoor Showman magazine.
This time of year offers us an
opportunity to reflect on the invaluable
contributions and support that
continue to strengthen our industry. In
particular, we would like to express our
heartfelt thanks to our longstanding
advertisers—Greigs Novelties South,
HIB Insurance Brokers, MayMax Donuts,
AAC, and Castle Finance for their
ongoing commitment to the Outdoor
Showman magazine, the Guild and
the wider showmen community.
A special thank you goes to Faith
Perrett, our incredible publisher,
and Alastair Troedel at Eastern Press
Printing for your dedication and the
outstanding work you do to bring
The Outdoor Showman to life.
We also want to take a moment to
acknowledge and send warm greetings
to the VAS Ltd Chairperson, Brian Keirl,
the Board of Directors, Executive Officer
Rod Bowles, Chloe Bowles, and the
entire VAS Ltd team. We look forward
to working together in 2025 and wish
you all a prosperous New Year.
Our gratitude extends to the following

A special thank you goes to our
President, Elwin Bell Jnr., whose tireless
efforts and steadfast support of both
the Guild and me personally have been
invaluable. And to Selina Bell, whose
hard work behind the scenes is deeply
appreciated and never goes unnoticed.
My special thanks also go to all
Delegates and Showmen who have
contributed to the success of 2024 and
the Victorian Agricultural Show run.
Finally, I would like to express my
sincere appreciation to our entire
Executive Committee, including
President Elwin Bell Jnr., Secretary
Eileen McClure, Treasurer Terry Moon,
and Trustee Marjorie Chant, whose
dedication and tireless work ensure
the success of the Guild
and the betterment
of our members.
As we approach the festive
season, I wish you all a safe
and prosperous time with
loved ones. We look forward
