Attendances
The Shepparton Show will be operating under current public health directions. Entry
Members to enter the Showground via Gate 5 (Williams Rd).
Bump In/Bump out
Bump in: Monday 7th October from 7am for entry/camping on the Showgrounds. Bump Out: Monday 14th October by 5pm. Shepparton Show Food Traders Information 2024
The Shepparton Show is on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October 2024 at the Shepparton Showground, 275-299 High St, Shepparton VIC 3630.
In Victoria, all food premises are required to register or notify under the Food
Act. This applies to fixed premises food businesses, such as cafes and restaurants and also to temporary or mobile food premises, such as food trucks, water carters and vending machines.
Food Trader is used by temporary and mobile food businesses or community groups to manage their obligations under the Food Act 1984 (Food Act) with local councils. For further information,

All food vendors must register with Food trader, and all documentation must be submitted least 2 weeks prior to our show i.e., show date 11th & 12th October 2024. Late submissions will not be allowed to trade at the Shepparton Show. Insurance
City of Greater Shepparton council
have stated all insurance policies must have $20 million cover to operate on Council grounds. As a requirement of
our POPE documentation, Proof of current insurance must be submitted to Shepparton Agricultural Society Inc
2 weeks prior to our show.

Collection of Rent
Thursday 10th October from 5pm at
the Grandstand. All insurances will be checked by Shepparton Show staff, current insurance certificate must be received 2 weeks prior to our show. Worksafe will be checking logbooks. Amusement Rides
These must all be insured by the third-party contractor i.e., Showmen’s Guild etc. and
a current Certificate of Currency must be obtained BEFORE allowing the contractor to enter the grounds and set up. Movement of large emergency vehicles
is not to be hindered by the placement
of Amusement rides, sideshow games,
activities and sideshow novelties encroaching over boundary lines.
There must be a clearway left on corners of streets to allow large emergency vehicles to clear access throughout the grounds and be aware of the front of house, with awnings, shutters etc. opening onto the street. Please comply with line- marked boundaries, temporary fencing, safety bollards and safety bunting in place. Cattle Unloading and Parking
There will be a cattle unloading/cattle
park area sited north of Multi-purpose pavilion with exit out to Williams Rd via Cattle gate. The area will be fenced off from sideshow area on hardstand
during showtime.
Back of House
Please ensure back of house is kept
clean and tidy. To ensure a safe working environment, please ensure all electrical leads are tested and tagged. Power leads are to be placed correctly in power boxes, no leads on the grounds to avoid trip hazards or danger of electrocution.
Please ensure all LPG gas cylinders are compliant with current safety standards. Waste & Rubbish
All rubbish including cable ties, balloon scraps, fairy floss stick, food containers, cigarette butts, glass bottles, drink cans, baby’s nappies, syringes, carboard and general household rubbish must be disposed in the appropriate manner and place in the appropriate waste bin. Dumping of mattresses, oil cans, cooking oil, tyres, unwanted electrical goods into skip bins will not be tolerated and must
be disposed in the correct manner at the waste transfer station.
Dogs
Dogs are not permitted to roam the showground. Please ensure all dogs remain in the care and control of their owners and please clean up after them. The Council Ranger will be notified if dogs are wandering.
Traders and Exhibitors: All marquees must be safely secured to prevent them moving in the event of wind. Ensure signage, banners, etc. are secure. Please ensure all electrical leads are tested
and tagged. Please ensure all LPG gas cylinders are compliant with current
safety standards.
Camping Area: Camping only permitted
in designated camping areas. No lighting of fires is permitted in designated camping areas. These areas must be kept clean
and tidy, no dumping of rubbish, cigarette butts, cans, etc and no glass allowed. No camping on grassed main arena or heavy vehicle parking. All excess vehicles must remain off site.No Grey Water discharge allowed on ground. Grey water must be disposed of in in appropriate sullage points or self-contained and emptied at the dump point located outside Gate 4. Vehicles: No vehicle movement is allowed during show operating times 10am-10pm, except for Emergency vehicles and where it is necessary. Livestock exhibitors must be escorted and move at walking pace
with their hazard lights operating during show time. Please obey directions given by Traffic Marshalls. Delivery vehicles are only permitted to enter the showground between 7am-9am on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October 2024. Emergency Vehicle Gate
Meeting Point: Gate 3 Thompson St. for Emergency Vehicles
Access points: Gate 1 (High St Gate), Gate 3 (Thompson St) and Gate 7(Archer St). Ensure 1m clearance at all Fire Hydrant Points and access is not blocked by equipment.
The grassed main arena is the designated Emergency Assembly Area.
Fireworks
Shepparton Agricultural Society and Tony Finlay from Southern Cross Fireworks are working very hard to bring fireworks back to the show. We plan to have a Fireworks display at 9pm Saturday 12th October 2024, subject to weather conditions.
We would request, in the interests of safety, for Sideshow operators to close rides while fireworks are on. We will have an exclusion area marked out on the main arena and crowd barriers will be used to control show patrons.

DANDY SHOW 2024
The Dandy Show will be held at Greaves Reserve, Bennet St, Dandenong on the weekend of the 9th and 10th of November. Along with traders and exhibitors, we also have horse, cattle and sheep competitions as well as rabbits and Flyball. There will
be showjumping and sporting horses.
We have a couple of main attractions and there will be fireworks on the Saturday night. Throw a vintage bicycle display,
a hot rod display and other community groups in there and we have a show that will appeal to a wide range of ages.
We look forward to welcoming our regulars and some new faces at the Dandy Show.
WARRNAMBOOL SHOW 2024

Lots of free activities at
Warrnambool Show
Warrnambool Show is aiming to draw in the crowds to this year’s show with lots of free entertainment for kids and families. There’s Dinkum Dinosaurs, Hoop Sparx and a fantastic special feature presented by a local business “The Enchanted Experience”. Entry for children under
17 is free with all day music, great food and a Big Pyrotechnic performance on the main arena on Saturday night to keep the crowds entertained well into the evening. Once again, we will be opening on Friday evening for a special youth event, The Warrnambool Show-Off, to give the Showmen’s Guild members an additional time to operate. We look forward to seeing you all at this year’s Warrnambool Show.
