During IAAPA’s first visit to China in 1986, IAAPA President Tom Wages was joined by Mr. Chen, the head of Dong Fang Park.
In 1987, IAAPA’s Summer Meeting took place in Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany.

IAAPA Expo 2003 Trade Show Floor: In 2003, the IAAPA trade show moved into the new North/South building at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, where it has become the permanent home to the show.

IAAPA Attractions Expo 2017 Kickoff Event Groundbreaking: IAAPA officially relocated its global headquarters team to Orlando in 2017, and plans for building a permanent headquarters are taking shape, with a debut set for 2019.
