Dear Members, fellow Showmen,
industry friends and readers,
As we come to the close of another remarkable year, I would
like to extend my sincere thanks to all members of the
Victorian Showmen’s Guild for your continued commitment,
resilience, and support throughout 2025. Our industry
thrives because of the passion and professionalism
each of you brings to every show, carnival, and event
across the state.
This year’s Victorian Agricultural Show circuit was another strong one; and
much of that success is owed to our dedicated delegates. Your tireless work—
often behind the scenes and under significant pressure—ensures the smooth
operation of every event we support. On behalf of the Executive, I thank you
for your time, expertise, and unwavering dedication to both the Guild and the
wider industry.
I would also like to acknowledge the advertisers and contributors who have
supported The Outdoor Showman magazine throughout the year. Your
involvement helps us share important updates, celebrate our members, and
preserve the long-standing traditions that make our publication such a valued
part of our community.
To our new members who have joined us in 2025, welcome. We are delighted
to have you as part of the Guild family, and we look forward to working with
you as you build your future within this proud and vibrant industry.
As we move into the summer carnival season, I wish all members and industry
friends a safe, successful, and prosperous run. May the festive season also
bring you the chance to rest, reconnect, and enjoy precious time with family
and friends.
