ST ELIZABETH’S
Welcome to
St Elizabeth’s Newsle er
As we move through autumn into winter we see so many changes around us. The trees are losing their leaves and there is a wintery feeling in the air. The season changes make one marvel at the beauty of creation.
Blessed John Henry Newman said ‘to live is to change and to be perfect is to change often’ At St Elizabeth’s we are constantly changing, we have been here well over one hundred years our focus still remains “to offer to vulnerable people individually designed education, care and support services that maximise their opportunities to live life to the full”. Every change we make is to improve the
quality of the lives of the people living here. Thank you to all those who help us in so many different ways.
As we move towards the Church’s season of Advent, a time of spiritual preparation for Christmas, let us remember the many people who will have no home at Christmas and little to rejoice about. We nd our Re ections Service on the rst Sunday of Advent (27th November) gives us the opportunity to remember, to re ect and to thank God for the past year and the many blessings we have received.
So many of you receiving this news letter have never visited St Elizabeth’s, you will always be very welcome if you have the opportunity. There will always be someone available to show you round.
Wishing you a peaceful and happy Christmas and many blessings in the New Year.
