Minimum Edge Thickness System (METS)
METS is a system that optimises lens edge thickness and is recommended for surfaced single vision, bifocal and progressive lenses. METS is especially beneficial for all plus powered lenses. This means minimum edge and centre thickness is guaranteed.
SUNIX & Optomate Link
HOYAlog to SUNIX and Optomate links are now available. This function is only available for stand-alone computers that are not on a terminal server. For more information please contact your local HOYA Sales Consultant.
Lens Ordering System
HOYAlog on-line enables you to communicate with
the HOYA Lab Management System. It gives you direct order access to the complete range of HOYA lenses. This user-friendly system also gives you up to the minute information on the status of an order.
Remote Edging System
As well as all the benefits of ordering HOYA lenses via the on-line system, HELP allows you to trace your own frame with our 3D tracer. HOYA will then cut the lenses to within 2/1000mm accuracy giving you finished, remotely edged* lenses that are delivered directly to your door with no further processing necessary. Simply fit the lenses into the frame and the spectacles are ready to be fitted to the customer. The system is efficient and highly professional, with less time spent on glazing lenses meaning more time spent dispensing and meeting customers’ needs.
*NB: Remote Edging is available for stock and RX lenses.
Point of Sale Tool
These days customers want more choice, high quality and the very latest in lens design. HOYA helps in the delivery process with the HOYAlog on-line system. The HOYAlog system runs under Windows, making it extremely easy
to use. You can easily select and show customers the benefits of thinner and lighter lens designs, to the exact dimensions of their chosen frames. At the touch of a button you are able to trace the frame and calculate
the exact thickness and weight of each lens. With the HOYAlog on-line system, you have a professional high tech point of sale ordering tool, meaning you can devote more time with your customers. The technology and service customers receive will show them that you are really looking after their needs, increasing the perceived value in their minds.
