ZAPOPAN, JALISCO, MÉXICO
This project started from a simple volumetric base, a rectangular prism crossed on both floors by three laminar elements, that serve as structural support.
The design is mostly orthogonal, only interrupted by the angular shaped steps on the main entrance, as well as in the sloping ceiling over the main bedroom.
The use of apparent concrete is widespread throughout the house, creating a contrasting appearance between the heavy and rough stony materials, and the lightness and delicacy of the vertical louvers repeatedly placed in all three facades.
