Employer's Liability (Claims-made Basis)
5. the Company shall only be liable for a de ned event which occurred a er the retroac ve date but prior to date of cancella on or non-renewal;
6. claims rst made against the Insured or any reported events by the Insured during the extended repor ng period shall be treated as if they were rst made or reported on the last day preceding the cancella on or non-renewal;
7. the total amount payable by the Company for claims made or reported events during the extended repor ng period shall not have the e ect of increasing the limit of indemnity applicable as on the last day preceding the cancella on or non-renewal;
8. any claim made, following a reported event during the extended repor ng period, which is rst made against the Insured in wri ng more than 48 (forty eight) months a er the last day preceding cancella on or non-renewal, shall not be subject to indemni ca on by this Extension. If the claimant is a minor, the period of 48 (forty eight) months is extended un l the expiry of 12 (twelve) months a er the a ainment of majority by the claimant.
MEMORANDUM
In respect of this Sec on only General Excep on 1 is deleted and replaced by the following:
"This Sec on does not cover death, injury, illness or liability directly or indirectly caused by, related to, or in consequence of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hos li es (whether war be declared or not), civil war, mu ny, insurrec on, rebellion, revolu on, military or usurped power".
