Veterinary expenses and medical bene t
We will pay the stated medical bene t for accidental bodily injury to any:
○ person, excluding yourself, caused by your domes c animals
○ guest or visitor caused by any defect in or on your premises
○ domes c employee in the course of their employment.
We will also pay for veterinary expenses incurred as a result of accidental bodily injury to any of your domes c animals caused by a vehicle accident.
Water leakage from underground pipes
We will pay for any addi onal charges on your municipal water bill that result from leakage of underground pipes on your premises. This is subject to the following condi ons:
○ the addi onal charge for the latest quarter must exceed the average of the last four quarters by at least 50%
○ the addi onal charges are not caused by:
– leaking taps, geysers, toilet systems or swimming pools
– loss of water from swimming pools or their pipes
○ your premises are not unoccupied for more than 60 days
○ you immediately trace the leak
○ you repair the leak at your own expense
○ we will not pay for more than two events in any 12-month period.
Wild animals
We will pay for loss or damage to your household contents caused by wild animals. Wild animals are animals that live freely in their natural environment and are not kept con ned or in cap vity by you as a pet. For the purpose of this clause wild animals are not regarded as vermin unless they are without any protec ve status.
