Hypervelocity Stars By Marley Claeys
A chance meeting- Nothing more,
But more importantly- Nothing less
400 billion stars in our galaxy,
And I could see each of them as I looked in your eyes I saw shooting stars collapsing into my atmosphere And plunging into my unresistant heart
I think when our galaxies collided, you rearranged my sky Because now that I’ve met you, the stars don’t look the same And I wonder if I will ever stop shaking stardust from my hair Or if the glow of you will always remain
