Nothing quite lights a fire in the pit of my belly like when someone says they don’t want to celebrate their birthday the older they get
We are made of the same stardust that created the cosmos
And we are made of the same stardust that will destroy the cosmos
Each year we gain new secrets and forget old ones
So let the boredom and the guilt be damned
Enjoy the cake and the glitter and the company
Because when we are worm food and supernova fuel,
The celebration better be worth something more than turning older
