that is about tomorrow, maintaining the high levels of quality and customer service that have come to be associated with Placer Motors. It is common
for him and his employees to see customers around town and stop to
chat or exchange a friendly wave. Being integrated into the community means giving back - Erick loves to support local schools, organizations, sports teams, and fundraising campaigns through sponsorships and charitable donations.
a partner, bought out the business, which was a Goodyear store at the time, twenty years ago, having managed the Prospect Avenue location. When his business partner retired, he bought him out; Nick bought in to the business 2 1⁄2 years ago, which by that time had joined the Point S Cooperative, with a liates around the world. In time, Nick will buy out the business as Bob moves into retirement.
As the son of the longtime business owner, Nick was determined to work harder and smarter to prove his value
in the business. He takes pride in the positive relationships he has built among the Point S employees, as well as with his colleagues in the cooperative around the northwest region. He has learned a great deal from his mentor about how the business works, and is committed to getting better, as opposed to getting comfortable, as a leader and business owner. He has established deep roots in the Helena community, and enjoys the ability to be involved and give back to the community that he loves.

Tetra Tech opened an o ce in Helena in the mid-1980s. There are approximately 45 employees based
in Helena; there are around 16,000 employees worldwide under the vast Tetra Tech umbrella. They are one of the Environmental Protection Agency’s largest contractors, with many of their projects coming through the state
and federal pipelines. In Montana, much of their work revolves around environmental investigations and engineering. Helena’s Tetra Tech engineers contribute to signi cant environmental projects across the country, from California’s wild res to the Atlantic Coast’s hurricane zones, as

Nick Fox knows tires. He quite literally grew up in the tire business – his childhood memories include early
eight. Nick and his father, Bob, together own Point S Tire & Auto Service, with two locations in Helena. Nick grew up in Helena, went off to study at North Idaho College, then to the University
of Great Falls, where he played soccer, and ultimately could not resist the pull of his hometown, where he has lived ever since. He and his wife and three children can’t get enough of
the outdoor opportunities the Helena area offers – they enjoy all manner of outdoor recreation, including  shing, camping, boating, hanging out at the lake in the summer, and skiing in
the winter. Nick still enjoys playing soccer, as well as gol ng and running marathons with his father.
Nick Fox reached this point in his career the long way – he worked his way up the ladder, starting with a broom in hand at age twelve. He has learned the tire business by working his way through almost every aspect of it; he currently manages the Prospect Avenue location and oversees the downtown location. Bob Fox, with
Colin McCoy is the Operations Manager at Tetra Tech, having started his career with the company as an entry level engineer eleven years
ago. He grew up in Pocatello, Idaho, and obtained his degree in Biological Systems Engineering at University of Idaho, after which he spent two years in Guyana with the Peace Corps. Colin taught math and science in a remote village that he reached by airplane,
in addition to helping develop a biodiesel plant using palm oil. Upon his return to the States, Colin worked for one year at the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and
then began his tenure at Tetra Tech in 2007. Last October, Colin was promoted to Operations Manager. In addition
