   ABOUT THE BUILDER
Sussex Construction is a locally owned and operated company in Helena, Montana.
Since 1996, we have been hard at work creating several quality Helena communities that include: Heron Creek, Ridgeview, Sussex Park, and now Westside Woods. The inspiration for our name came from co-founder Bekka’s childhood home – in Sussex, England. With a penchant for tea, pottery, and gardening, Bekka brought with her an understanding that homes are an extension of the arts and heritage of a place.
Ron has been intrinsically involved in the building community of Helena. Ron has been a part of the State of Montana Building Codes Council since 2009, and from 2011-2012 Ron was the Montana Builders Association President. An avid outdoorsman, he was raised in Helena and is a fourth-generation Montanan. He served a full term with the U.S. Peace Corps in Uzbekistan after earning a business degree at Montana State University.
Bekka and Ron met in South-East Asia while backpacking around the world in their twenties. Ever since, their combined passion for architecture, the arts, and out-of-the-
box thinking has fueled Sussex Construction. Together with a team of hardworking, talented, and extraordinary people, they aim to pay forward the legacy of beautifully built structures that embrace the arts of traditional crafts combined with modern technologies to create heritage homes designed to last for many generations to come.
In 2003 & 2005, Sussex Construction was awarded the Builder of the Year award by the Home Building Industry Association (HBIA). Sussex has been an HBIA member since the

ABOUT THE HOME
The Bullwhacker floor plan is a ranch-style home
that welcomes you with a comfortably covered
front porch that leads to a gorgeous sitting room. A vaulted ceiling continues outside to cover the back patio. Scandinavian-influenced style, this light- flooded home has natural wood tones, whites, tan leather, and black hardware throughout the rooms. An open, airy kitchen with upgraded Canyon Creek Cabinets, appliances, a farmhouse sink, and quartz counters anchors the living space. Understated and modern light fixtures allow the authentic timber frame trusses to take center stage. As with all Sussex homes, the house includes an HRV system and radon mitigation. Four bedrooms and three full bathrooms flank the living areas that open to a large backyard with fabulous views of the Elkhorns.
