Mr. Sykes is a teacher who truly cares about every student who walks into his classroom. Mr. Sykes tries to help every single student to make sure they understand the material that
he is teaching, and is always willing to answer any question you have. But most of all, he keeps his students accountable, he will tell you if you did not try your best on an essay or assignment and he will not allow you to make excuses like “I did not have time to print my essay” or “I had too much going on that day.” Mr. Sykes has taught me not only how to write a good essay, but also life lessons that I still use to this day.
