28th Annual (virtual) Furry Scurry – May 1 Keep your New Y ear’ s resolution to get t AND help animals in need by registering for the 28th annual Furry Scurry. This year’s event is virtual, which means you can walk, run or scurry in a way that is convenient and safe for you while helping homeless pets and horses. Join a community of people running trails, walking through neighborhoods and gaining miles on treadmills.
Join the Town in this annual area-wide effort to improve and enhance our local creeks by collecting and removing trash and debris along trails, Sat., May 1 from 8:30-11:00am. (Backupdate:May15)Volunteerswillbeprovidedgloves, bags and a commemorative neck gaiter, while supplies last. Snacks and water will be available. All ages are welcome and this is a perfect opportunity to ful ll community ser- vice hours while keeping Castle Rock beautiful and our watershed clean. Register.

Free Monthly Walking Tours - start May 22 The Castle Rock Museum will give free walking tours of Historic Downtown Castle Rock on the 4th Saturday of each month from May through September. These 45-minute tours begin at The Courtyard on Perry Street, between 3rd and 4th streets at 10:00am and will conclude at the Castle Rock Museum, 420 Elbert Street. Reservations are required by calling 303-814-3164 or email museum@ castlerockhistoricalsociety.org.
