MAINTENANCE TECH
(Castle Rock)
$1,000 sign on bonus
$20.00 per hr. 30-40 hrs. per week
Job Description: This team member should be mechanically minded, hard-working & team oriented. Responsible for service requests, make-ready apartment homes and upkeep of the property building and grounds. On call also required. Therefore, reliable transportation will be needed. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including maintenance, minor appliance repair, painting, drywall, plumbing, heating, electrical and other duties, as needed. Ensure prompt and ef cient preparation of vacant units for occupancy and completion of service repairs for residents. The ideal candidate will be able work in a fast paced environment with focus on customer service.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the snow removal as needed.
Paint/drywall as needed.
Perform high quality make-ready repairs and resident services.
Report any safety issues or property concerns to the Manager Responsible to purchase supplies when maintenance is needed Maintain an orderly supply room
Assists Management Team with delivery of resident notices, as needed Conductsallbusinessinaccordancewithcompanypoliciesandprocedures, state and federal laws; e.g. OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.
ABILITIES:
1. Ability to work independently, prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
2. Be dependable / Reliable and follow through on commitments
3. Superb customer-service skills
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Good organization and time management skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in residential community maintenance or
related area preferred
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation Knowledge of hand tools and maintenance procedures HVAC certi cation a plus
Must be available for on-call hours
Drug screening required
