nyone who is currently enrolled in a plan with Bright Health or Oscar Health will have to choose a new plan as these carriers will be leaving the Colorado market at the end of this year. If you aren’t enrolled on a plan with one of the previous mentioned carriers, there is a good chance you can probably continue on the plan you have now. Watch the mail for notices from your carrier to see if they’ll be discontinuing your plan in 2023. Open enrollment continues until January 15th but if you would like your plan to start on January 1st, you’ll need to have enrolled by the 15th of December. You should also check if your eligible for a tax credit to help pay your premium. A family of 4 in Castle Rock (adults age 45 & 2 kids) can still make $150k and be eligi- ble for a tax credit or a husband and wife both age 58 can earn as much as $180k and still get a credit. It’s worth checking as tax credits are no longer tied to the federal poverty line.
