Parent-Child Bug Cookies
Sun., June 10 • 1:00 - 3:00pm
Ages: 5+ Accompanied by Adult 18+ Register by Mon., June 4
In this class, you and your child will learn how to make grass and a variety of adorable bugs from basic round tips. Learn to make a bumble bee, butter y, caterpillar, worm, ladybug, etc. Each participant will learn the proper way to ll and hold a decorating bag, followed by techniques and tips to make a variety of cookies. Participants will each take home a dozen cookies.

Every Wed. in June • 1:30-3:00pm
Ages: 9-13, 8 students per session Register one week before the start of each session.
Give your child the gift of letting their imaginations soar as they create, explore,
and discover this summer in Creative Kids Camp. Each of these classes will give
your child the opportunity to create in their own unique way and nd their own
individual voice. We will start out the summer by creating a Gratitude Art Journal,
which we will write in each week your child attends. At the beginning of each class,
we will create a page in our journals that focuses on what we would like to express gratitude. This will be a warm up exercise to prepare for our main project. We will take on a di erent project each week. We will be creating an abstract painting in acrylics. We will create mixed media art, using many di erent materials to discover many ways and styles to express our own creative voices. We will create with clay and we will dive into watercolor painting. If you long to give your child a memorable and creative art experience this summer, check out Creative Kids Camp! All supplies and snacks are included. Your child may attend one or all classes. Chalkboard Classes
Sat., July 7• 9:30 - 11:30am Age 15+ Register by Sat., June 30
Time to get creative! Do you love the look of those pretty chalkboard signs? Now you can paint your own without the fuss and the mess. Participants will take a 12x12 cradled birch board canvas, prime it, and then paint on the background color. Once it dries, we will do some “smudging” to get the look of chalk on the background. We will then sand the edges to distress it and use a stencil to add our wording to the sign. It may sound complicated but it’s super easy to create this beautiful work of art for your home. All supplies are included. You can choose your stencil design from one of several patterns. These pictures just a couple of examples of what you could make. Location: Taft House.
