Tax Season

The IRS announced that the nation’s tax season started on
T Monday, January 23, 2023
o speed refunds the IRS urges tax- payers to le electronically with direct deposit as soon as they have the infor- mation they need. As in previous years the IRS will not issue refunds involving Earned Income Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit until the rst week of March.
In January you should have received organizers from your tax preparer and then W-2’s and 1099’s will be mailed out or posted to your employer website by January 31st, 2023. The Social Security statements have been mailed out already. If you have a IPPIN assigned, you will get a letter from the IRS with that number soon.
If you need an appointment to get your
tax return done you should be calling
now to ensure that you get your return
done by the deadline date of April 17th,
2023, or you could be faced with ling
