Driver Seniors Driving Volunteer Senior Activity Center
Volunteers start driving seniors & disabled adults in the Castle Rock Senior Activity Center shuttle program for a variety of reasons: they wished someone had done this for their parents or grandparents; they want to give back or pay it forward; or they believe those who have come before them deserve to live life fully in their golden years. However, they continue driving because Castle Rock’s version of “Driving Miss Daisy” means as much to the drivers as it does to the seniors they transport.
