COMMUNITY FOUNDATION APPOINTS NEW CEO
The Board of Directors of the Douglas County Community Foundation (the Foundation) is pleased to announce Rochelle Miller as its new Chief Executive O cer. Miller brings over 13 years of nonpro t executive leadership experience to the Foundation. Formerly serving as Foundation Director for the High Plains Library District Foundation, Miller has also served as Vice-President for the Community Foundation Serving Greeley and Weld County. She obtained a masters certi cate in Nonpro t Leadership from Colorado State University in 2011.
“Having grown-up in and spent the majority of my life in Colorado, I amthrilledtobringmycommunityfoundationleadershipexperience to the Douglas County Community Foundation”, said Miller. “I am humbled and honored to serve the community in this capacity.”
Donna Scott, Douglas County Community Foundation board chair said, “We are so excited to welcome such an experienced leader to the Douglas County Community Foundation. Rochelle will be instrumental in guiding the board’s strategic plan to champion awareness of the needs in Douglas County, inspire generosity in our community and support the non-pro t organizations serving Douglas County.”
Rounding out the leadership teamat the Foundation, Carrie Buchan has been promoted to Chief Operating O cer. Having served the Foundation for over 2 years, Carrie has been instrumental in the recent growth of the Foundation and together with Rochelle will provide the partnership needed to further that growth.
