Enjoy group tness classes, high-tech cardio equipment, a weight room and more. Group tness classes cover a variety of workout routines, and several new programs are being added for 2022. New group tness classes: Restorative Yoga – a relaxing type of yoga where par- ticipants are supported with blankets, blocks or bolsters and focused on deep relaxation, tension, holding patterns and balance. Power Punch Parkinson’s Boxing – the rst non-con- tact boxing program for people with Parkinson’s disease. Cross Training – keep those muscles guessing with this unique and fun class that uses a variety of equipment, cardio drills and strength exercises. Weight Room Orientation – let a certi ed personal trainer teach you how to use the weight room equipment safely and e ectively. Group tness classes are included in the Recreation Center membership or daily admission. Several fee-based premium classes, not included in the membership fee, will also be available for the winter/spring season. New premium tness classes: Between a Walk and a Hard Pace – achieve the next level of your running goals with this 5K running program. Golfer’s O Season Conditioning – discover golf-spe- ci c training that will help improve your power, exibility and strength. Strollin’ Strong – a total body conditioning program perfect for caregivers and their young children.
