Castle Rock Museum’s New Exhibit:
“Westward Ho: Trailblazers of Douglas County”
Join us Sat., April 14, 12noon - 3:00pm, for the grand opening of this exhibit. We’ll have several Mountain Men on hand with all the equipment needed for a venture across Colorado in the 1800’s. Meet the adventurers and check out the new exhibit about trailblazers like Stephen Long and John C. Fremont.

CR Historical Society Presentation - April 12
In honor of the new exhibit at the Castle
Rock Museum on the early explorers in
Douglas County opening in April, our
monthly presentation on Thur., April 12, will be by lo- cal historian, Kent Brandebery on the  lm “The Stephen Long Expedition.” Kent was the band director at Douglas County High School for many years and worked on the music for the  lm which we will be shown at the presen- tation.
