dle of the night,
and when you
get up to use
the bathroom,
you notice
your neighbor’s garage door is open, do you ask yourself, wonder if he knows it’s open? We have likely all been there. Do you call your neighbor and tell him? Do you walk across the street and ring the doorbell? Do you cringe at the thought of waking him up? Let’s not talk ourselves out of helping our neighbors; you would likely want the same noti cation if you forgot to shut your garage door. But, what should you do if they don’t answer the door or the phone? The best possible solution is to call the non-emergency number, 303-660- 7500, and let them know your neighbor’s garage door was left open and you got no response when trying to contact them. We can send a patrol deputy out to try to contact them as well.
