Santa Drive-By 2020
Castle Rock Fire and Police departments to escort Santa through areas of town December 12 – 18
You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to Town! Things are a bit different this year, and Castle Rock rst responders are giving Santa a lift and escorting him through Castle Rock neighborhoods this holiday season.
Castle Rock Fire and Rescue and Castle Rock Police Department will usher Santa through neighborhoods beginning Sat., Dec. 12.
Here’s Santa’s Itinerary:
Saturday, Dec. 12, 8 a.m. to approximately 5 p.m.
Santa will visit The Meadows, Red Hawk, Downtown, Woodlands/Escavera neighborhoods Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 4:30 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m.
Santa will visit the Metzler Ranch, Diamond Ridge and Sapphire Pointe neighborhoods Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 4:30 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m.
Santa will visit the Terrain and Cobblestone Ranch neighborhoods
Thursday, Dec. 17, from 4:30 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m.
Santa will visit the Plum Creek and Crystal Valley neighborhoods
Friday, Dec. 18, from 4:30 p.m. to approximately 7 p.m.
Santa will visit the Founders Village and Castlewood Ranch neighborhoods
Live Santa Tracker:
Santa will not stop on the route but will wave and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas along the way. A live Santa tracker will be provided by NeoTreks, a local Castle Rock company, at CRgov.com/SantaDriveBy. You’ll also know Santa is near when you hear holiday music as he enters neighborhoods.
Since Santa will be in a re truck, he won’t be able to travel down dead-end streets and cul-de- sacs, so please look for him as he drives by the through streets close by. Apartment complexes will be able to see Santa from the clubhouse areas. For safety’s sake, we ask well-wishers to stay on sidewalks or in driveways. All Santa drive-bys are weather permitting.
