RHYOLITE GALLERY: Shop Local, Buy Local Art for the Holidays!
A new month at Rhyolite Gallery means another new collection of art by local artists! In the month of December, we will be exhibiting the paintings of Justin Jensen, the landscape photography of Nick Lucey and Colin Shreffler, the watercolors of Cindy Welch, the furniture of Matt Rinn at Slantbrush Studios, and the gourd art of Carolann Chambliss.
We will be having two artist receptions this month:
Thursday, Dec. 3 • 5-7pm — Colin Shreffler Thursday, Dec. 10 • 5-7pm — Justin Jensen
Inside the Rhyolite Gallery, you’ll find fine art photography, paintings, sculpture, and other objets d’art, as well as local jams and preserves, local honey, soaps, candles, jewelry, books of local interest, and CBD products. We also sell greeting cards, postcards, calendars, t-shirts and apparel, hats, stickers, patches, and other gifts. It’s the perfect place to do all your holiday shopping!
Whether you’re an art consumer or an artist yourself, we’re here to serve you. We host fun receptions for all artists exhibiting at the gallery, so subscribe to our email newsletter and stay tuned for all the latest events. Artists, rent some wall space and have that exhibit you’ve always dreamed of holding. All exhibiting artists are members of the Castle Rock Artist Cooperative, Colorado’s fastest-growing art community, and all our products are made for locals, by locals.
Our current hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 4pm, and Sundays 10am to 2pm. Come visit us at Rhyolite Gallery, 505 Second Street in downtown Castle Rock.
