Heating and Plumbing Equipment Supply Distributor:
George T. Sanders, is the largest independent distributor of heating and plumbing equipment in Colorado. This company submitted a proposal to rezone a parcel of land to light industrial, which is located along the West Frontage Road at 1004 South Interstate 25. Once approved by the Town of Castle Rock, this warehouse-type structure will encompass 20,000 square feet of indoor space on 2.61 acres of land. The facility will be a pre-engineered metal building with storefront openings, 40 parking spaces, two drive-in doors and two high dock doors designed for delivery trucks. Construction is on a fast track. The company has not yet announced its plan on how many new jobs this facility will create, however they anticipate to hire both skilled and entry-level personnel.
Castle Rock Indoor Car Storage:
Located on 2.93 acres adjacent to the I-25 Frontage Road in the Your Storage Center Annex, there is a plan to build a 23,800 square foot structure for climate controlled indoor car storage. Once complete, patrons of this storage facility will have controlled access year around. The developer wants to obtain approval as quickly as possible so that construction can begin.
Canvas at Castle Rock:
Developers have submitted a proposal to the Town of Castle Rock to build a residential development at the north corner of Crystal Valley Parkway and Plum Creek. Canvas at Castle Rock is a proposed for- rent development consisting of 102 units, a clubhouse/amenity area, and adjacent parking. This will be a large-scale, multi-family development intended to house families who may not yet be able to a ord a single family or townhome in Castle Rock. Rental prices for these units have yet to be determined. Construction is anticipated to begin early Spring 2021.
Castleton Entertainment Center:
A Site Development Plan has been submitted to the Castle Rock Planning Department to construct Castleton Entertainment Center, a 30,400 square foot entertainment center at 3161 North Castleton Court. This 3.1 acre parcel of land is located east of the Comfort Suites and is rezoned for Business Commercial. Once approved, this new entertainment center will have 207 parking spaces. The developer has not yet disclosed what type of indoor entertainment will be provided, however this same developer has other properties which provide indoor kid-friendly entertainment.
