CRCGS has an informal discussion about all genealogy-related topics every Monday morning at the Castle Rock library. No charge, no requirements, just show up. You are welcome and we guarantee you will learn something about genealogy that you didn’t know before. 10:00-noon.

Kim & Karl (our FamilySearch experts) will give us an in-depth look at using the FamilySearch CATALOG. The possibilities are seemingly endless in using this wonderful part of a resource we are familiar with. They have special knowledge of its secrets and Kim & Karl are coming from Colorado Springs to let us in on them. Please register above so we know you are coming. Registration is free!
Every Third Saturday (unless announced) the CRCGS monthly meeting and program is open to anyone who is curious to know more about family research topics. In January, that date is Saturday, January 19th. We will gather at 10:00am to hear Susie Wickman present a program called “What a Disaster! Weather Related Disasters.” Enjoy free co ee and snacks. YOU are welcome, no registration required. It’s a very interesting way to spend a Saturday morning. Hope to see you there!

This class will give you some ideas on writing about and resrarching weather events and where to  nd imagery that will help you enhance and embelish your stories.
