The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation was estab- lished in 2012 by the late Ernie Fazekas, the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation is a resident-led non-pro t foundation whose mission, as the non-pro t partner of the Town of Castle Rock Parks and Recreation Department, is to strive to maximize the recreational experiences of our community.
Their purpose is to promote and enhance our parks and trails by:
• Creatingeducationalopportunitiesforthecommunity that assist them in having an enjoyable recreational experience.
• Cultivatinglocalpartnershipstobuildadynamicand supportive recreational community.
• Providingaunique,user-friendly,comprehensivewebsite and digital platform that communicates and advocates for parks and recreation offerings and events.
• Developing and spearheading fundraising projects that encourage parks and trails engagement.
